A one-week puppet making residency with Dartington Primary School, Devon, as part of a project based on Ted Hughes’ book ‘The Iron Man’. I worked with three classes to create a large, shadow puppet-style ‘dragon’ puppet and an ‘iron man’. Children made intricately decorated dragons’ scales and tassels, assisted with painting the ‘iron man’, and helped to attach their creations to the puppets. (2012)
