Large scale ‘body mask’ puppets made for the 2012 Westcountry Storytelling Festival, and heavily inspired by the Bread and Puppet Theatre’s creations. (http://breadandpuppet.org/) Puppets based on the mythic giants Gog and Magog, and animated during the Storytelling Festival’s opening ceremony to represent the idea that the giants sleeping beneath the land would awaken to ‘wild story and heart song.’ Puppets made using a chicken wire mould, papier mached cardboard and cornflour paste, bamboo, twine fixings.
